Senior Dining Program

The Senior Dining Program provides nutritious meals to eligible people aged 60 and over. While no fees are mandated for congregate or home delivered meals, confidential voluntary contributions of $3.00 per meal are suggested. These contributions expand the program.

Congregate Dining Service

Monday through Friday, seniors gather at different sites throughout Orange County to be served a nutritious noontime meal while enjoying social, health and educational programs, as well as nutrition education and counseling with a registered dietician. Reservations to attend a dining site are required 24-hours in advance, and can be made by calling the specific site’s telephone number:
  • Blooming Grove 496-4411
  • Cornwall 534-4500
  • Goshen 291-4448
  • Highland Falls 446-2212
  • Kiryas Joel 783-8300 x262

Home Delivered Meal Service

Nutritious noontime meals are distributed to elderly residents in many locations in Orange County, with nutrition education and counseling with a registered dietician provided as needed. Arrangements may be made for weekend service and limited diet modifications. A prescreening process is required to determine one’s eligibility for the service. Final approval is dependent upon an in-home assessment.

Call the Orange County NY Connects at 845-615-3710 to complete a referral for Home Delivered Meals.
