Once a year, Orange County takes properties for non-payment of taxes through a foreclosure process. These properties are then put to public auction each year between June and September. Prior to the auction, a booklet listing general information along with the list of properties is available either on our Website, or may be purchased for $5.00 at the Real Property Tax Office, or purchased by mail for $10.00 (payment is needed prior to mailing). Payments should be made payable to the Commissioner of Finance.
Properties that are not sold at the auction can be bid/purchased on a monthly basis through the Real Property Tax Office using the Official Bid form (see link below).
